The sheriff, addressing the group with a serious tone, expresses concern about the department’s struggles to apprehend a persistent gang. He calls for two volunteers for a challenging mission: to confront the gang at an old store. Officer Olga, a courageous and experienced officer, steps forward eagerly. Bella Lenina, a young and eager rookie, also volunteers, determined to prove herself. Olga hesitates, worried that the mission’s dangers might overwhelm Bella due to her inexperience, but the sheriff, trusting Bella’s potential, permits her to join.
The two officers arrive at the store, where they’re suddenly ambushed by the gang. Overwhelmed, she collapses, her body trembling in shock. In her final moments, Olga’s thoughts turn to her family, wondering how they’ll cope with her loss, and to Bella, hoping her young partner will survive. With a final, haunting gaze, she passes away.
Bella, devastated by the sight of Olga’s lifeless form, fights back with determination but is soon struck by two bullets in her chest. She collapses, overwhelmed by pain and fear, dropping her weapon. In desperation, she reaches for Olga’s hand, staring into her fallen partner’s unseeing eyes, which seem almost glass-like. Bella’s breaths are heavy with panic. The gangster approaches, preparing to end her life. No longer the confident officer, Bella is a young woman gripped by fear, pleading, “No, please, don’t!” Despite her cries, the gangster fires a final shot to her chest.
