Inspector Angelia, determined and courageous, tracks down a dangerous military leader in an abandoned warehouse, where she was led by the disappearance of the superheroine Annabelle. Inside, she encounters a terrifying scene: the leader is reaching for a pair of hovering scissors. Angelia orders him to stop, but he, obeying a mysterious voice, grabs them. A shot to the chest knocks him down, but the nightmare is just beginning. Under the mask and cloak lurks something inhuman—its eyes glow red, its hand transformed into a claw. Suddenly, it comes to life and inflicts grievous wounds on Angelia, leaving deep gashes on her legs and back. Her uniform is torn, blood pours over her body, but she fights until she collapses, overcome with pain. The leader leaves, carrying the trophy and the taunt. Salvation comes with another officer who calls for help, but Angelia teeters on the brink of life and death. At the hospital, on the brink of despair, doctors decide to use Annabelle's experimental formula to give the city hope. Will Angelia rise as a hero, or will she face a tragic end?
